Mary Visitation

The Maria Visitation Chapel was built by the neighborhood, Severin Wirges paid most of the costs. The chapel was consecrated on June 21, 1703 by the prior of the Bödingen monastery . In addition to the Virgin Mary, it was consecrated in honor of St. Augustine and St. Anthony of Padua . The chapel festival takes place on July 2nd. If the weather is nice, the high mass of the Schönenberg Church will be moved to the chapel on this day .
