Bornscheid is 240  m above sea level. NHN at the watershed of the Nutscheid . The Bornscheider Bach , the Wingenbach and the Ottersbach have their source in the vicinity of the village . Neighboring towns are the towns of Oberlückerath and Niederlückerath to the north and Rankenhohn to the south and Wingenbach to the east .
