Sieferhof (Ruppichteroth)

Sieferhof is a former district of Winterscheid in the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia . Today it belongs to the Ruppichteroth district of Bröleck .

location

Sieferhof is located in the Bergisches Land nature park in the northern part of Bröleck. The community capital Ruppichteroth is about six kilometers away. In the north Sieferhof borders on Eichhof in the municipality of Much , in the east on Jünkersfeld and Felderhoferbrücke , in the south on Tüschenhohn , in the west on Büchel and Thilhove and in the north-west on Hermerath .

The district road 350 to Wiehl runs near Sieferhof . The Bröl flows east of Sieferhof .

history

Sieferhof was first mentioned in 1490 as "Syffen". In 1809 the place had 18 residents of Catholic denomination .

Sieferhof has always been part of the Winterscheid community . On November 16, 1956, Sieferhof was merged with the surrounding villages of Felderhof , Felderhoferbrücke , Haus Bröleck , Lindenhof and Tüschenhohn to form the district of Bröleck , which was fully incorporated into the municipality of Ruppichteroth .
