The coat of arms of the municipality of Much is silver in the upper half and gold in the lower half. Above a striding, blue-tongued and armored red lion , below on a green mountain a red armored black rooster, each with a blue fish.

The coat of arms is based on an aldermen's seal from 1627, which was found in the municipality. If the lion indicates the old rulership of the Dukes of Berg, the lower part of the picture refers to the place. In addition to the abundance of fish (trout), the cock should symbolize the vigilance of the lay judges.
