The list of municipalities in the Rhein-Sieg district gives an overview of the 19 administrative units in the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia . The district consists of eleven cities and eight municipalities. The Rhein-Sieg district was created in the course of a district reform in 1969 by merging the former Siegkreis with the district of Bonn .

The Rhein-Sieg district has a total area of 1,153.21 square kilometers . The municipality of Windeck has the largest area within the district with 107.22 square kilometers. This is followed by the cities of Hennef (Sieg) with 105.89 square kilometers and Bornheim with 82.69 square kilometers and the municipality of Much with 78.06 square kilometers. The smallest areas have the municipality of Alfter with 34.78 square kilometers as well as the cities of Sankt Augustin with 34.22 square kilometers and Siegburg with 23.46 square kilometers.

The cities of Troisdorf with 74,953 inhabitants and Sankt Augustin with 55,847 inhabitants have the largest share in the population of the district of 600,764 inhabitants. The largest municipality is Alfter with 23,563 inhabitants. The communities Much with 14,412 inhabitants and Ruppichteroth with 10,420 inhabitants have the fewest inhabitants. The smallest town in the Rhein-Sieg district in terms of population is Meckenheim with 24,817 inhabitants.

The entire Rhein-Sieg district has a population density of 521 inhabitants per square kilometer. The highest population density in the district has the city of Siegburg with 1771 inhabitants per square kilometer, followed by the cities of Sankt Augustin with 1632 inhabitants per square kilometer and Troisdorf with 1209 inhabitants per square kilometer. The municipality with the highest population density is Alfter with 677 inhabitants per square kilometer. The communities with the lowest population density are Windeck with 175 inhabitants per square kilometer and Ruppichteroth with 168 inhabitants per square kilometer. The city with the lowest population density is Rheinbach , here 387 people live in one square kilometer.
