Tillinghausen lies north of Much on the slopes of the Bergisches Land . Neighboring towns are Daushof in the north and Oberheiden in the west.

history

Tillinghausen was first mentioned in 1502 as Tytellkus .

In 1901 the village had 93 inhabitants.
