Niedermiebach is located in the upper Wahnbachtal on federal road 56 . Neighboring places are Drabenderhöhe in the northeast, Oberdorf in the southwest and Obermiebach in the northwest.

history

In 1901 the village had 66 inhabitants. The households were widow Adolf Behr, Joh. Peter Büth, Joh. Peter Kaltenbach, Wilhelm Kaltenbach, Wilhelm Schneider, Anna Maria Steeger, Joh. Steimel, widow Peter Stommel and Peter Josef Thelen. Almost all of them were farmers by profession except for the innkeeper Peter Kaltenbach and the tailor Thelen.

village life

There is a village community. They restored the village square with Heiligenstock , took part in the harvest festival with a cart and put up a village Christmas tree in December.
