Niederdreisbach is located on the slopes of the Bergisches Land . Neighboring towns are Oberdreisbach in the north, Strießhardt in the east, Ortsiefen in the south-east and Marienfeld in the south-west.

history

Niederdreisbach was first mentioned in a document in 1503.

In 1901 the hamlet had 49 inhabitants. These were the families Heinrich Josef, Joh. Martin and Peter Josef Diedrichs, Philipp Haas, widow Peter Josef Heimann, Franz Josef Höhner, Philipp Höller, Gerhard Ludwig, Gerhard Schlimbach as well as Joh. And Wilhelm Thelen. With the exception of the bricklayer Höhner and the roofer Höller, all were farmers .

In 1926 a drinking water supply was put into operation in the village.

In World War II, nine villagers were killed.
