Strünkerhof is located on the slopes of the Bergisches Land in the upper Naafbachtal . Neighboring places are Bixnaafermühle in the north and Neverdorf in the east. Strünkerhof can be reached via the state road 360.
history
The Strünkerhof was first mentioned in a document in 1442 as the property of the brothers Walraven and Johann von Plettenbrecht . The Counts of Nesselrode from Ehreshoven Castle bought it in the 18th century and leased it as a "pig farm". In 1816 the farm was sold to Heinrich Kemmerling.
In 1830 eleven people lived on Strünken .
In 1901 the homestead had nine residents. The Kemmerling families were recorded: Ackerin widow Franz, Ackerer Joh. And Ackerin widow Peter Josef. The last information given is 76 inhabitants who live in the 28 houses of the district.
