Wersch is a district of the municipality of Much in the Rhein-Sieg district . The place has 167 inhabitants. Wersch was first mentioned in 1351 with Kylgen von Werze . The formerly independent district of Bongert was first mentioned in 1557. State road 312 runs through Wersch .

Germana chapel

The original chapel was built by Johann Henn from Wersch and named as early as 1710. The couple Martin Kaltenbach bought the chapel and donated it to the parish. Then the chapel was expanded to today's Germana chapel. Every year there is a trinity procession from Much to the chapel.
