In 1830 Strießhardt had 17 residents.

In 1901 the hamlet had 33 inhabitants. The Ackerers Joh. Büth, Gerhard Kaltenbach, Joh. Peter Kröner and Gerhard Ludwig lived here.

village life

Since 1907 the place has always participated in the harvest festival of the Bröltaler Erntevereins Bruchhausen-Röttgen . A village community exists with Müllerhof.

Every autumn there is a potato festival in the village .
