Neßhoven is a part of the municipality of Much in the Rhein-Sieg district . The place was first mentioned in 1502 with regard to the annual fee to the parish church of Much. Today the formerly separate place Scheukausen belongs to the local situation .

Neßhoven is in the east of Much. Neighboring villages are Marienfeld in the north, Bröl in the east, Hope Valley in the south and Erlen in the northwest. The place can be reached via the state road 350 .

In 1901 the hamlet had 49 inhabitants. The following households were recorded: the farmers of the Franken families with Elisabeth, Franz, Johann and Mari; the Ackerer of the Nesshöfer families with August, Carl, Johann, Johann Peter I. and Johann Peter II. as well as Ackerer Joh. Peter Schumacher.
