In 1845 the Scheuekausen farms were recorded with seven households. At that time 37 Catholics lived here.

In 1901 the place was a hamlet and had 31 inhabitants. The families Ackerer Joh. Franken, Ackerer Joh. Grell, the seamstresses Anna Christina and Maria Catharina Steimel, Ackerer Peter Martin Steimel, Ackerin widow Johann Thelen and Ackerer Peter Josef Tillmann lived here.
