Strunkhausen was a district of the municipality Much in the Rhein-Sieg district . Today it forms the northern part of Neßhoven .

In 1830 Strunkhausen had 36 residents.
In 1901 the hamlet had 45 inhabitants. The households bricklayer Theodor Kaltenbach, Ackerer Fr. Küpper, the shoemaker Josef and Wilhelm Röger, Ackerer August Schneider, wheelwright and timber merchant A. Siebert, the Ackerer August and Heinrich Thelen and the blacksmith Wilhelm Zimmer lived here.
