Schellenbruch is a part of the municipality Eitorf in the Rhein-Sieg district . Since the farm is located directly on the Römerstrasse , which also forms the border to the municipality of Ruppichteroth , the community affiliation has sometimes been changed due to changing buildings.

Schellenbruch is located in Nutscheid at an altitude of 270  m above sea level. NHN . Neighboring towns are to the south of the chapel town of Hönscheid and to the west of Schneppe , and a little further to the north is Oberlückerath .

history

In 1809 Schellenbroch was performed in the municipality of Ruppichteroth, Commüne Velken . The yard was uninhabited at the time.

In 1885 Schellenbruch had a residential building with one inhabitant.

In 1901 there was the household of the farmer Franz Peter Schmitz.
