Lützgenauel is a district of the municipality of Eitorf in the Rhein-Sieg district .

location

The place Lützgenauel lies on the northern bank of the Sieg and on the wooded slopes of the Nutscheid below the Küpp . Neighboring towns are Bourauel in the east and Merten in the west.

history

The place was first mentioned in 1645. The entry can be found in the Blankenberger Rentbuch. In 1885 Lützgenauel had six houses with 29 residents. At that time the place belonged to the municipality of Merten . In 1910 there were the households Ackerer Jodokus Halft, factory worker Josef Wegscheid, farmer widow Peter Wegscheid, cobbler Wilhelm Weiss and skinner Ludwig Wiederstein.
