Schützenau (Eitorf)

Schützenau is a former part of the municipality of Eitorf and was added to Bach .

location

Schützenau lies above Bach at an altitude of 120  m above sea level. NHN on the western steep bank of the Krabach valley .

history

The first house was built in 1926 by the Schütz family from Walsum . They called the place of residence Schützenau when a scattered settlement was created through more houses. At that time the place belonged to the community of Uckerath . It was assigned to the municipality of Eitorf in the course of municipal reforms in 1969.
