Eitorf is the capital of the eponymous municipality Eitorf in the (right bank of the Rhine) Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia . About 9,980 inhabitants live in the main town.

The center of the village is the market . From there to the northern bank of the Sieg in Kelters , Brückenstraße (part of Landesstraße 86) leads. It begins on Schmidtgasse . The first branch is Goethestrasse . This is followed by the intersection with Landesstraße 333 , Hochstraße and Bahnhofstraße . After the Schulgasse junction, there is the level crossing over the victory route , behind which the underground Eipbach is crossed. After the junction of the street Am Eichelkamp , the bridge over the Sieg finally follows , before the Brückenstraße ends at Kelterser Straße (L 87).
