Happach (Eitorf)

Happach (vernacular: Happich) is a district of the village of Bach in the municipality of Eitorf . The place is divided by the L 333 .

location

The place Happach is at approx. 95  m above sea level. NHN on the south bank of the Sieg . Neighboring towns in the north are Merten and Lützgenauel across the Sieg. The district is also named for the Spicherwald , which separates it from the Harmonie district .

history

In 1843 Happig was a single farm with seven Catholic residents. In 1885, Happach had five houses with 31 residents. At that time the place belonged to the municipality of Merten .
