Forst ( listen ? / I ) was a village in the municipality of Eitorf in the Rhein-Sieg district . Today it forms the western part of Bitze . Audio file / audio sample

Forst lies on the slopes of Leuscheid at the edge of the forest. Neighboring place in the east is the Bitzer district Sterzenbach , in the southwest Käsberg . To the north is the Altebach industrial park .

history

In 1830 Forst had 54 residents.

In 1845 the hamlet had 77 Catholic residents in ten houses.

In 1888 the village had 87 residents in 17 houses.
