Sterzenbach was a village in the municipality of Eitorf in the Rhein-Sieg district . Today it forms the eastern part of Bitze .

location

Sterzenbach lies on the slopes of the Leuscheid at the edge of the forest. The neighboring village in the west is the Bitzer district of Forst , in the southwest Käsberg . To the north is the Altebach industrial park .

In 1830 Sterzenbach had 134 residents.

In 1845 the village had 155 Catholic residents in 18 houses.

In 1888 the village had 115 residents in 24 houses.
