Hecke was a village in the municipality of Eitorf in the Rhein-Sieg district and today forms the central district of Rodder .

location

Hecke lies on the edge of the Leuscheid in the Eitorfer valley basin. Neighboring place in the northeast is the original Rodderer, in the south-west the district Dickersbach , otherwise the place borders on the state forest Neunkirchen-Seelscheid .

history

In 1830 Die Hecke was a courtyard with seven residents.

In 1845 the farms had 18 residents in three houses, one of which was Protestant.

In 1888 Hecke had 22 residents in four houses.

Today Hecke has almost 40 residents.
