Linkenbach was a village in the municipality of Eitorf in the Rhein-Sieg district . Today it forms the northeastern part of Mühleip .

Linkenbach is in Eitorfer Switzerland on the Leuscheid . Neighboring towns are next to Mühleip in the southwest: Hove in the northeast and Stein in the north. Linkenbach can be reached via Landesstraße 86 .

In 1830 Linkenbach had 60 residents.

In 1845 the hamlet had 55 Catholic residents in 14 houses and a mill.

In 1888 Linkenbach had 77 residents in 17 houses.
