Barnard Motors is a racing car manufacturer founded in 2008 by Chris Barnard and based in Bloemfontein , South Africa .

The manufacturer became famous for its prototype Barnard 101 , which was presented at the Automechanika in Johannesburg in 2009 .

In February 2012, the company presented a series-produced successor, the Barnard BTR7 . According to a report, the vehicles are not being street legal. The Barnard BTR3 and Barnard BTR11 (920 kW) models have already been announced.
