The Barnard BTR7 is a super sports car that the South African manufacturer Barnard Motors presented as the first production vehicle in February 2012. The name stands for Barnard Track Racing . The attached number 7 is intended to illustrate the output of 700 hp . The new model has an output of 524 kW and is expected to reach a top speed of 330 km / h. The ex-works purchase price is stated at 147,000  US dollars , and for export even up to 250,000 US dollars. The length of the model is given as 5700 mm with a wheelbase of 2970 mm. The V8 engines used come from the Corvette C6 . The empty weight is given as 1050 kg.

According to a report, the vehicles are not being street legal.
