Huppach is a former part of the municipality of Ruppichteroth . Today it belongs to the central place.

location

Huppach is located in the valley of the Waldbrölbach between Ruppichteroth in the northeast and Harth in the southwest.

history

In 1644 there was a free aristocratic court of the barons von Scheidt called Weschpfennig in Huppach . If necessary, he had to provide a horse and deliver a load of oats every year .

In 1901 there were 31 residents in the hamlet. The heads of the household were tailor Christian Otto, bricklayer Heinrich Schiffbauer and wheelwright Heinrich Stommel.
