history

In 1809 the place had 25 Catholic residents. At that time he belonged to the Commüne Velken .

In 1838 a carter Friedrich Prinz from Drolshagen married Elisabeth Wilhelmina Wirtz from Schneppe and took over the inn from her father. He and his son ran this here until 1864, but moved it to Schönenberg after the construction of Bröltalstrasse in 1864. Until then, the road via Schneppe and Winterscheid was the only connection between the mayor's office and Allner .

In 1910, the households of the farmers Joh. Lückeroth and Joh. Wirtz were recorded for the hamlet.
