Stranzenbach is a district of the municipality of Ruppichteroth in the Rhein-Sieg district , administrative district of Cologne , in southern North Rhine-Westphalia . The place is divided into two parts, for the northern part see Stranzenbach (Nümbrecht) .
geography
The village lies on the slopes of the Bergisches Land . The eponymous brook forms the border to the neighboring Oberbergischer Kreis and flows west into the Bröl .
history
In 1464 the place was first mentioned as Straentzenbach .
In 1809 the place had 11 Lutheran and 55 Reformed inhabitants.
