Scheid is a district of the municipality of Ruppichteroth in the North Rhine-Westphalian Rhein-Sieg district . It is located northeast of Schönenberg , other surrounding hamlets are Hove in the northeast and Herrenbröl in the south.

history

In 1644 Scheid was the seat of the nobility of the Lords von Scheidt called Weschpfennig . If necessary, they had to provide two horses and deliver a load of oats.

In 1809 the place had nine Catholic residents.

In 1910 the households Ackerer Joh. Fischer, bricklayer Peter Josef Hänscheid, day laborer Philipp Müller, quarry worker Josef Orth, farm worker Berndhard Prinz, farm worker Wwe. Joh. Steimel and farm worker Heinrich Wirges were listed here.
