The village lies on the slopes of Nutscheid . To the northeast lies boiler Scheid , in the east the boiler separator Heath , south Lütter Hausen , southwest Wingenbach and the north are Paulinenthal and Neuenhof .

history

In 1644 the Kämerscheider neighborhood cultivated aristocratic land and had to deliver two loads of oats a year.

In 1666, Johann, Theiß Hammerscheit, Johann Lobach, Girgard Lobach, Corsgen Tostenhohn, Dederich, Johann Simons, Corstgen Schmitz and Gotthardt Wirichs lived here according to the list of homage at the time .
