The Baxter Glacier is a glacier in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is fed by glacier fractures that flow from the flight deck firn field . In the Convoy Range, it flows northeast between Flagship Mountain and Mount Davidson to the Fry Glacier .
Participants in a campaign lasting from 1976 to 1977 as part of New Zealand's Victoria University's Antarctic Expeditions named him after the New Zealand poet and social critic James K. Baxter (1926–1972).
