Fritz Berghammer (born August 8, 1991 in Landshut ) is a German ice hockey goalkeeper who has been under contract with the Landshut Cannibals in the 2nd ice hockey Bundesliga since 2008 .

Career

The native Landshut started his ice hockey career in his hometown. He went through all the junior teams of EV Landshut and in the 2006/07 season he played for the first time for the DNL team of the ice skating club, for which he was used seven times this season. In the following season he was already one of the team's regular goalkeepers and guarded Landshut's goal in 31 games. Although the goalkeeper was primarily used by the DNL team in the following season 2008/09, he was in the box of the professional team, the Landshut Cannibals, for six games . Since the 2008/09 season , Berghammer has mainly played as a back-up, i.e. as a substitute goalkeeper, for the Cannibals. He already came to nine missions in 2009/10.
