Altınkilit ( Turkish for golden lock [locking device ]), ( kurd. Kurdi) is a village in the Diyadin district of the Ağrı province in Turkey . Altınkilit is 10 km southwest of Diyadin. The name "Kurdi" means "Kurdish" and was recorded in the land register at the land registry in 2009.

There is a primary school in the village. In 2009 Altınkilit lived 505 people in 52 households ( hane ). Altınkilit has a drinking water connection.

In the 1990s, Altınkilit and the surrounding area were the scene of armed clashes between security forces and PKK fighters .
