Kuşburnu (kurd. Canakiz ) is a village in the Diyadin district of the Turkish province of Ağrı . Kuşburnu is located in Eastern Anatolia at 2,090 m above sea level, approx. 11 km south of Diyadin.

Before it was renamed to Kuşburnu (Turkish rose hip ), the town was called Canakiz. The former name is also registered with the land registry.

In 1985 there were 669 people in Kuşburnu and in 2009 the village had 866 inhabitants.
