Boyalan (Kurd. Kürdikan ) is a village in the Diyadin district of the Turkish province of Ağrı . Boyalan is located in Eastern Anatolia at 1,990 m above sea level, about 6 km south of Diyadin.

Before it was renamed Boyalan, the village was called Kürdikan. This is the name of a tribe . This original name is recorded in the land registry and was used as an alternative name in the 1965 census.

Between 1985 and 2000 the population decreased from 436 to 310 inhabitants and in 2009 the village had 331 inhabitants.
