Atayolu (Kurd. Öztürkan ) is a village in the Diyadin district of the Turkish province of Ağrı . Atayolu is located in Eastern Anatolia at 1,930 m above sea level, 9 km northeast of Diyadin.

In 1985 Atayolu lived 836 people and in 2009 the village had 625 inhabitants.

Before the renaming to Atayolu ("The way of Ataturk" or "The way of the ancestors") the village was called Öztürkan. This name is recorded at the land registry. Öztürkan is a hybrid of the Turkish "Öztürk" ("real Turk") and the Persian or Kurdish plural suffix "-an". The place is also called "Hısturka".

Atayolu has a primary school. In 2010 Atayolu was hit by a flood caused by heavy rains.
