Oğuloba (kurd. Şahvelet ) is a village in the Diyadin district of the Turkish province of Ağrı . Oğuloba is located in eastern Anatolia at 2,320 m above sea level, about 20 km south of Diyadin.

The original name of Oğulobas (Turkish son tent ) is Şahvelet. The name was changed after 1945. The census of 1945 lists the village with its original name. The name Şahvelet is also registered with the Land Registry.

In 1945 the population was 54 in what was then Şahvelet. In 1985, 381 people lived in Oğuloba and in 2009 the village had 316 inhabitants.

Oğuloba has a primary school and a mosque.
