Günbuldu (Kurd. Maya ) is a village in the Diyadin district of the Turkish province of Ağrı . Günbuldu is located in eastern Anatolia at 2,100 m above sea level, about 13 km southwest of Diyadin.

Before the name was changed to Günbuldu, the village was called Maya, sometimes also spelled “Meya”. This name is recorded in the form Maya at the land registry office.

Between 1985 and 2000 the population decreased from 956 to 876 inhabitants. In 2009 there were 984 inhabitants in Günbuldu.

In the vicinity of Günbuldu there are caves that bear signs of an earlier Christian settlement.
