Akçevre ( Kurdish Taphaç ) is a village in the Diyadin district of the Turkish province of Ağrı . The Kurdish name was recorded at the land registry office. Akçevre is located 27 km southwest of the district town and is at an altitude of 2290  m , about 14 km north of the Hüdavendigâr Dağı (3510 m). Akçevre had a total of 267 inhabitants in 2000. In 2009 the population was 129.
