Taşbasamak ( Turkish for stone step ), ( Kurd. Mirzecan ) is a village in the Diyadin district of the Turkish province of Ağrı . Taşbasamak is located in Eastern Anatolia , near the Murat , on a plateau, 2,020 m above sea level, approx. 8 km southwest of Diyadin.

The original name of Taşbasamak was Mirzecan. The name Mirzecan is registered with the land registry.

In 1985 Taşbasamak lived 644 people and in 2009 the village had 906 inhabitants.
