Büvetli (kurd. Şikeft ) is a village in the Diyadin district of the Turkish province of Ağrı . Büvetli is located in Eastern Anatolia at 1,800 m above sea level, approx. 22 km northeast of Diyadin.

Before the name was changed to Büvetli, the village was called Şikeft. This name is of Kurdish origin and means "cave". It is recorded at the land registry. The name was changed after 1945. In the 1945 census, the village was still under the original name Şikeft.

In 1945 the then Şikeft had 80 inhabitants. Between 1985 and 2000 the population increased from 483 to 568 inhabitants and in 2008 Büvetli had 454 inhabitants.

There was a shooting in 2010 with one person killed over land disputes.
