Radek Štěpánek competed as the defending champion in the singles, losing in this year's final against top seeded Andy Roddick 6: 7 2 , 6: 7 2 , who won his 28th ATP title. In doubles, Marc Gicquel and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga were the defending champions. Gicquel was able to successfully defend the title, but this year he played alongside Jérémy Chardy . In the final they defeated Lukáš Dlouhý and Leander Paes in straight sets.
