Six Nations 2011 was the twelfth edition of the annual Six Nations rugby union tournament . Over five weekends from February 4 to March 19, 2011, the national teams of England , France , Ireland , Italy , Scotland and Wales competed in 15 games. The tournament winner was England.

The home games of the Irish took place for the first time at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin , which was built on the site of the former Lansdowne Road stadium . This ended an agreement with the Gaelic Athletic Association for the use of Croke Park Stadium . For the first time ever, the tournament began with a Friday evening game.
