The 1980 edition of the annual Five Nations rugby union tournament ( Six Nations since 2000 ) took place on five game days between January 19 and March 15. The tournament winner was England , which made it to the eighth Grand Slam with victories against all other participants , and the Triple Crown with victories against all British teams .
