After the exclusion of France in 1932, the Five Nations rugby union tournament (now the Six Nations ) continued as the Home Nations Championship with four British teams until 1939 . The tournament of 1933 took place between January 21st and April 1st. The tournament winner was Scotland , which achieved the Triple Crown with victories against all other participants .
