Six Nations 2012 was the 13th edition of the annual Six Nations rugby union tournament . On five weekends from February 4 to March 17, 2012 the national teams of England , France , Ireland , Italy , Scotland and Wales competed in 15 games. The tournament winner was Wales with a Grand Slam (victory in all five matches).

For the first time since the Six Nations in 2008 , no more games were played on a Friday evening. Italy continued to play its home games in Rome , but now in the Stadio Olimpico instead of the Stadio Flaminio as before .
