Andrew David Trimble (born October 20, 1984 in Coleraine , County Londonderry , Northern Ireland ) is a Northern Irish rugby union player . It is used as an outside center or as a wing .

life and career

Trimble first attended the Coleraine Academical Institution. After successfully completing this, he studied physics for a year at Queen's University Belfast , but then moved to Belfast Bible College to study theology . Trimble married his wife Anna in March 2009.

He has played for Ulster Rugby since 2005 . In 2006 Trimble was named Ulster Rugby Player of the Year. He also played in the AIB League for the Ballymena RFC and the Irish U21 team.

For the Irish national rugby union team he made his debut as a replacement for the injured Brian O'Driscoll at the 2005 IRB Autumn Internationals . He was on Ireland's squad for the 2007 Rugby Union World Cup and the 2011 Rugby Union World Cup . He also played for Ireland in the 2014 Six Nations .
