The 1950 edition of the annual Five Nations rugby union tournament ( Six Nations since 2000 ) took place between January 14th and March 25th. The tournament winner was Wales , which made it to the Grand Slam for the fourth time with victories against all other participants , and the Triple Crown with victories against all British teams .
