Six Nations 2017 was the 18th edition of the annual Six Nations rugby union tournament (with all previous tournaments since 1883 the 123rd edition). On five weekends from February 4 to March 18, 2017, the national teams of England , France , Italy , Ireland , Scotland and Wales competed in 15 games.
For the first time in the tournament's history, the bonus point system was used. The tournament was won by England, with a grand slam narrowly missed in the final round.

- 4 points if you win
- 2 points if there is a tie
- 0 points in the event of a loss (before possible bonus points)
- 3 bonus points for a Grand Slam (five wins)
- 1 bonus point for four or more attempts , regardless of the final score
- 1 bonus point for a loss of seven or less points
