The 1976 edition of the annual Five Nations rugby union tournament ( Six Nations since 2000 ) took place on six match days between January 10th and March 20th. The tournament winner was Wales , which made it to the Grand Slam for the seventh time with victories against all other participants , and the Triple Crown with victories over all British teams .
